Christ for Today is mailed in the Northeast United States as  an evangelistic outreach. Most articles are written by Christians who live in the Northeast and understand the culture of Northeasterners. Readers respond by requesting materials offered free of charge (booklets, Bibles, Correspondence Courses, etc). Some readers visit the services of congregations listed in each issue. Some are open to home Bible studies and are baptized into Christ.
